What is CBD/Full Spectrum CBD?

Cannabidiol (CBD) is a cannabinoid and is one of many compounds found in the hemp plant. CBD is non-intoxicating and does not cause a “high” or any “mind altering” effects. Currently, there is research being done to specify the exact effects and benefits of CBD. Each of our bodies has an Endocannabinoid system, and phytocannabinoids (cannabinoid naturally found in hemp) such as CBD can support this system by helping our bodies maintain homeostasis.

We have mastered the art of creating our full spectrum products. Full Spectrum hemp oil is the pure oil that is extracted from the entire hemp plant. Although our oil is rich in CBD, it also contains a natural source of other beneficial cannabinoids, nutrients, proteins, essential fats and terpenes that have been extracted. These compounds work together simultaneously to maximize their therapeutic properties, known as the “entourage effect”, offering the full benefits from the hemp plant.

Cannabinoids in our full spectrum oil: CBDa, CBD, CBN, CBG, CBC, <0.3% THC

What is the Endocannabinoid System?

The endocannabinoid system (ECS) is a signaling system throughout our bodies comprised of endocannabinoids and cannabinoid receptors. The ECS is responsible for helping our bodies achieve homeostasis (biological harmony) by maintaining and regulating different key functions in our health.

Our bodies naturally produce endocannabinoids, which are important in supporting our ECS. However, things such as stress, illness and injury can interfere with the body’s natural endocannabinoid production. This alters the efficiency of the ECS, causing an ‘imbalance’ and prevents effective communication within our bodies. When this system gets out of balance, our body is no longer in homeostasis.

Some experts believe that many medical diseases and conditions are possibly caused by endocannabinoid deficiencies. This is a complex system, and ongoing research will determine all of the functions and capabilities of the ECS.

Where does the hemp come from?

We develop our products with Partnered Process. They are a family and friend run business. They order clones of a specific type of hemp plant from Colorado and have them shipped to their partnered farm Turtle Creek Gardens in Delavan, WI. Turtle Creek Gardens produces certified-organic industrial hemp. The hemp is harvested on site and processed in their Waukesha, WI facility.

At DeepBotany and with Partnered Process, we are committed to creating exceptional extracts by using clean and environmentally friendly methods. We pride ourselves in our quality control approach and process all our industrial hemp using small batch methods.

Who to trust and who to buy from?

With all the new supplements available on the market- it is difficult to know where to buy quality extracts from. It is important to feel confident and comfortable in the products that you are introducing into your body. Here at DeepBotany, we have nothing to hide.

NATURAL. Partnered Proof full spectrum CBD extracts are non-GMO and originate from local organic hemp plants. We’ve created products that help nourish the body by experiencing natures full potential.

TRANSPARENT. Here are DeepBotany, we strive for transparency. We believe it is important to know where your purchase came from and what is (or isn’t) in it. Each of our merchandise includes a QR code, which is product specific. Scan the QR code to find out all lab results. We use third party lab testing which proves the purity and potency of each of our extracts.

Is there an expiration date for CBD products?

With proper storage, quality is maintained up to two years for our products.

Is CBD Legal?

Yes. Hemp-derived CBD products such as ours are legal in the United States.

Do CBD and other natural hemp-based constituents show up on a drug test?

Most drug screens test for the metabolites your body makes when consuming Delta 9 THC and do not detect the presence of cannabidiol (CBD) or other legal natural hemp-based constituents. While our products show to have low or no Delta 9 THC amounts detected, they are not THC free. Studies have shown that consuming hemp with low THC can cause one to fail a drug test. Since there are many variables, we cannot answer this question for each person.

If you are getting tested, we suggest you try a THC free CBD product. Unless otherwise noted, all our products can contain trace amounts of THC and are tested to be <0.3% THC.

When using topical hemp products, remember that your skin acts as a barrier between the outside world and the inner workings of your system. Although there is THC, CBD or other cannabinoids in the lotion/cream which is absorbed into your skin, muscles and nerves, it does not reach your bloodstream (and ultimately, your brain, where the psychoactive aspect of THC is caused), so it cannot be detected by a test. Since you’re not consuming the THC orally, there’s no way for it to get into your bloodstream.
